Georgia's painting was recently Commended in Jackson's Open Painting Prize
Jackson’s Judging Panel said:
‘The geometric composition and repetitive patterns of this urban facade are syncopated by the energetic figure of the man and dog as they move through the urban environment at pace. Facade, Pink and Green recalls modernist painters such as Richter, Hockney, Hopper and even Mondrian but also feels like a very contemporary painting.’
"I am a huge fan of Georgia Peskett’s work. She paints unremarkable and often ignored elements of the city, bringing them to life in front of us and drawing out their beauty. I selected her work for a hang at Century Club in Soho, where the quality of her colour and line draws attention from members and visitors."
